I had the pleasure of working with Helen during a recent wedding photo shoot collaboration, and she was absolutely amazing. Helen is such a calm, professional, and talented photographer who makes everyone feel at ease in front of the camera. Her photos are truly magical and capture every detail so beautifully. The first time I me Helen was at a wedding fair, I can't tell you enough for how many years I have been scared of getting married, I'm the older bigger bride and found the right one on the what I felt was the later side of my life not his though, he's perfect for me and I wanted desperately to give him his dream wedding, I've never been married and the thought of just trying on those dresses terrified me.. however as soon as I got near to Helen's stall I started to feel something different I can't t even describe it ..as I looked over her stunning photos on display I burst into tears! Yup right Infront of her, (I rarely cry)..she literally came over and put her hand on my shoulder (btw she's beautiful) and I'm not even kidding I relaxed and loved her instantly she even sent Ian away to find tissues, lots of tissues, I told her that I thought all along the dress was my problem and right Infront of me she had captured one of the most precious times in those people lives creating a stunning mood and feel for each photo, and from her reassurance and her talent I kept staring at, i knew instantly I didn't want anyone else but Helen to be with me on our special day, and she was not only there for us on Friday 29th she asked to help curl mine and my daughter's hair as I had that meltdown Infront of a mirror.

Helen I seriously can't thank you enough for getting me and Ian through that day you are that one in a million legend from start to finish you led the way, so many of our guests complimented on how lovely and very professional you were and how smoothly it all went.

When we first met Helen on our first meeting rob my other half sprained his Ankle at work. Then when Helen came too see us two weeks before the wedding I had sprained mine on my hen do! She made a joke saying is everyone walking now low and behold she came into the living room and see me sitting there with my ankle raised up and said wot have you done we was both giggling. Thankfully me and rob made it too our big day with no problems to say we was all delighted lol Helen is a very special person we wouldn’t have had anyone else do our wedding! Helen is an absolute beautiful person I’m side and out she really made our day special you was truly amazing at wot you do we will treasure the moments and memories forever nothing was a problem for our Helen she went above and beyond for us xx

Helen was our photographer at our 'late in life' wedding recently. You feel her enthusiasm when you first meet her. She produced a fantastic gallery of photographs that really document that special time for us. They were everything we could have hoped for, spontaneous, varied and full of surprises. She is clever and imaginative in getting the best from everybody attending. If she is available for your event don't hesitate.

I met Helen at a wedding fayre held at Ware Priory, which just happened to be the venue for our wedding. Helen has a great personality, always has a smile on hand, easy to talk to, engaging, listens well and is keen to put forward her ideas. We were both so pleased with how she carried out her work. Once we had agreed to have Helen as our wedding day photographer, she was quick to arrange a follow up meeting (which was carried out via Zoom as we live outside of the UK). Using her brochure she ran through the different packages available, offered advice on timings, where we would take photos at the venue and what her role would entail during the day. In the months and then weeks before, Helen continued to keep in touch vial email, which included a couple of online forms to help her understand more about us and which group photos would be required. It is clear that Helen has wealth of experience when it comes to these type of events and this was invaluable throughout the whole process. She was very well organised, knew what shots she wanted to capture and even though we didn't have the greatest weather, using her lighting equipment and her trusted assistant, managed to get some great photos. The whole day was a roaring success and only made possible by the good work carried out by all the suppliers of which Helen was an essential part. 5 stars for Helen Weir Photography

Helen has been so easy to work with in the build up to our wedding. At our engagement shoot, she listened to us on exactly what we wanted but guided us where necessary. She provided the photos within a few days and they are super easy to download or buy.

Wonderful Helen photographed our daughter’s wedding and this is what our daughter says about Helen…. Helen was an absolute treasure to find to be our wedding photographer back in May. Once the wedding day itself is over all you have is photos of those special moments to looks back on and Helen captured every single moment so beautifully. She was a pleasure to work with and made us feel relaxed in front of the camera. She was super flexible too letting us make decisions on the day depending on whether we wanted to spend time partying or to slip out for a nighttime shoot. After the wedding we received a teaser few photos which blew us away and we didn't have to wait long to receive the rest of them. Hardest part of the whole process was selecting photos for our album when we loved them all so much! Helen was so personable and easy to talk to, even taking the time to hand deliver our album was so lovely. Our family and friends were also able to create their own albums and prints that they wanted. Overall, we couldn't recommend Helen enough and feel so lucky to have her part of our special day, what a great find she is!

Absolutely delighted with our wedding photos. Helen was a pleasure to work with. She was friendly, enthusiastic and engaged throughout our first meeting on zoom; asked all of the right questions ensuring we got exactly what we wanted. On our wedding day most of our guests commented on how quick and unobtrusive she had been; she has a playful but very professional style. She captured beautiful images of us in the garden and within Place House Hall. She also captured many of the delighted, intimate and relaxed moments between us and our guests. We received more than 250 images and had difficulty choosing our favourites. She is very good at what she does.

I am lucky to be in the wedding industry myself as a celebrant, so come across photographers often, and all of them are always lovely. I first met Helen at a wedding fair, long before I’d even met my now husband, and was taken by her approachable, friendly manner, and over the course of the day discussed styles and weddings, and was extremely impressed by her knowledge, her professional approach to her business, and the many beautiful romantic pictures she had taken over the years. Our paths crossed multiple times in those years that followed, I saw numerous weddings she had shot on social media and had the opportunity to work with her a few times, which was always a pleasure. She also has a lovely reputation with other suppliers, vendors and venues in and around Herts. So forward to my own engagement, there was never any doubt who I was going to book, although I don’t think I ever told her this, but when we did get engaged, we quickly reached out to Helen to make sure she would be available. It’s quite strange being the bride when you have been the celebrant, and what I quickly learnt was I’m far more laid back (and unorganised) when it comes to my own wedding. Helen kept our timeline on track with meetings, timelines and day planning, but matching my laid-back attitudes. She was in regular contact, but in a friendly way, face to face meetings were at home or somewhere relaxed over a coffee. When the big day arrived, she arrived on time, armed with a bottle of fizz, with a smile and her calm, cheerful, bubbly self. I can’t say I’m a natural at having my photo taken, but she had a lovely way about her, and within a few moments of set up, she drifted around the room, hardly knowing she was there at moments. In others, I spotted her in various poses of her own as she tried to get the very best shot which did make me smile. She chatted easily with other members of the family and other suppliers who all thought she was lovely. When it came to my turn to pose, it was fun, creative and full of moments of laughter. Most important for me, not excessive. She captured the most beautiful images first, maybe second shot. Which is exactly what I wanted (and needed for my neurodivergent brain) And the rest of the day continued in much this style, she blended in as a friend, but captured every single beautiful moment we wanted, from kisses, laughter, tears, hugs, friends and my favourite, the moment our son saw the limo that was going to whisk us to the theatre in London. Helen exceeded our expectations by not only delivering breathtaking images, but making the whole experience from booking, the day, the swift delivery of photos, to this, the moment I get to tell you all about how amazing she is, just exactly how we all imagine working with a photographer to be. She really is a special lady, she genuinely cares about your day, and worked tirelessly to ensure ours was as we wanted and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any couple looking for a talented, personable, romantic and simply awesome wedding photographer.

Helen was fantastic! She made me and my whole family feel so comfortable producing some incredible photos, making us all look fantastic and so natural! If you are thinking of a photographer, I wouldn't think of anyone else other than Helen. will definitely be recommending her to friends and definitely would use her again!
