1. What is your photography style?

Question Here

My style is a blend of documentary storytelling and beautifully posed portraits. Throughout the day I capture natural moments as they unfold, while also creating relaxed portraits that you’ll treasure forever. This mixture ensures your gallery tells the full story of your day while still including those timeless images for your walls and albums.

2. What makes your wedding photography experience different?

Question Here

Your wedding photography is about much more than just taking pictures.

From the moment you book, I work closely with you to understand what matters most to you, help plan the photography timeline, and make sure everything runs smoothly on the day.

I like to make you feel like you have a friend photographing your wedding rather than someone who feels like a stranger. I blend seamlessly with your wedding party so everyone feels relaxed and comfortable, allowing me to capture genuine moments naturally throughout the day.

3. We’re not very comfortable in front of the camera – is that a problem?

Question Here

Not at all. In fact, most couples say this before their wedding.

My approach is very relaxed and natural, so there’s no pressure to perform or pose in a way that feels unnatural. I gently guide you when needed, but most of the time I focus on capturing real moments between you.

Before long you’ll forget the camera is even there, and that’s when the most genuine photographs happen.

4. Will you help us with posing?

Question Here

Absolutely.

I’ll let you into a little secret — I actually hate being photographed myself, which is exactly why I prefer being this side of the camera.

I know how awkward it can feel at first, so I guide you gently with natural prompts rather than stiff poses. It becomes a fun experience with no pressure — just lots of laughs while I capture beautiful, genuine moments between you.

5. Are you available on our wedding date?

Question Here

Your wedding date is the first thing to check. Once you enquire, I’ll confirm whether I’m available. If I am, I’ll send over full details about my collections and how to book.

6. How far in advance should we book you?

Question Here

Most couples book 12–24 months in advance, especially for popular weekend dates. If your wedding is sooner, it’s still worth getting in touch as I occasionally have last-minute availability.

7. How do we book you?

Question Here

Booking is simple.

Confirm I’m available for your date
Choose your collection
Complete your booking form
Sign the contract
Pay the booking fee to secure your date

Once that’s done, your wedding is officially in the diary.

8. What’s included in your wedding collections?

Question Here

My collections are designed to give couples everything they need for a beautiful wedding photography experience.

They include coverage for a set number of hours, professionally edited images, a private online gallery for downloading and sharing, albums, engagement sessions, second photographer options, and more.

9. Do you work with a second photographer?

Question Here

For larger weddings, a second photographer can be added. This is especially helpful in the morning while I am photographing the bride, as the second photographer can be capturing the groom or partner getting ready.

Later in the day, while I’m photographing the couple, the second photographer is often capturing guest moments happening at the same time — the laughter, hugs, reactions and little moments that the couple don’t always get a chance to experience during the day.

10. Have you photographed weddings at our venue before?

Question Here

I have photographed weddings at many beautiful venues, and there’s always something special about returning to a place I know well. That said, I also love discovering new venues.

If I haven’t photographed at your venue before, I like to visit your venue before your wedding date where possible so I can explore the best locations for portraits and lighting and make the most of everything your venue has to offer.

11. Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding shoots?

Question Here

Yes. Engagement sessions are a great way for us to get to know each other and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day.

You’ll notice that my Complete Romance collection and my Luxury Experience include this session, however it can also be added to my other collections at an additional cost.

12. Do we need to provide a shot list?

Question Here

Once you have booked me, we will go through your shots together, ensuring I capture what you dream of without taking the joy out of the day. My approach is always to make sure the photography fits naturally into your wedding so it never feels like the day becomes all about photographs instead of enjoying the celebration.

13. What happens if it rains on the wedding day?

Question Here

Don’t worry — beautiful photos can happen in any weather. I always come prepared with creative ideas and backup plans so we can still capture amazing images.

14. How many photos will we receive?

Question Here

The number of images depends on the hours of coverage you book. You’ll find the minimum number of images included in each collection listed on my pricing page.

That said, I always focus on quality over quantity. A good way to think about it is that if I delivered just one photo per minute, a 10-hour wedding would already be around 600 images. My goal is to provide a carefully curated gallery of your best moments rather than overwhelming you with thousands of duplicates.

15. When will we receive our photos?

Question Here

You’ll receive a preview gallery within one week of your wedding so you have a few beautiful images to share straight away.

Your full gallery is delivered within 4–12 weeks, with every image carefully edited to my professional standard.

16. Do we receive the high-resolution images?

Question Here

Yes. You will receive high-resolution digital images through your private online gallery so you can download and keep them, whilst your friends and family receive low-resolution images for viewing and sharing.

17. Can we print our photos ourselves?

Question Here

Yes, you can print your photos wherever you like.

However, professional prints can also be ordered directly through your gallery, and couples who book the Complete Romance and Luxury Experience collections receive a 50% discount on professional prints for the first two weeks after their gallery is delivered.

18. What happens if you are ill or unable to attend our wedding?

Question Here

In the very unlikely event that I am unable to attend due to serious illness or emergency, I have a trusted network of professional wedding photographers who can step in to cover your wedding.

Your photographs would still be edited in my style and delivered to the same standard you expect.

I did have to do this once during Covid where I had no choice, which is exactly why having a trusted professional network in place is so important.

19. Do you travel for weddings?

Question Here

Yes. I’m happy to travel for weddings. Travel within a certain distance may be included, while longer journeys or destination weddings may involve additional travel costs.

20. Why is wedding photography such an important investment?

Question Here

After the wedding day is over, your photographs are one of the few things that remain. They become the way you relive the emotions, the laughter, and the little moments you might not have noticed at the time.

Years from now, your photographs will be what you look back on to remember not just how your wedding looked, but how it felt. Choosing the right photographer means trusting someone to capture those memories in a way that tells the true story of your day.

21. What should we do if we love your work and want to secure our date?

Question Here

The best thing to do is get in touch as soon as you have your wedding date confirmed. Popular dates, especially weekends, tend to book up well in advance.

Once you send your enquiry, I’ll check my availability and send you all the details about my collections along with the next steps for booking. If your date is available, you can then choose your collection and secure it with your booking form, signed contract, and booking fee.

Even if you’re still finalising details, I’m always happy to chat and answer any questions to help you decide if I’m the right photographer for your day.

If there’s anything you’d like to ask or if you’d like to check my availability for your wedding date, I’d love to hear from you.

You can get in touch through my contact page and I’ll reply as soon as possible.
