Their real connection didn’t happen until much later though. They re-met when Nicola was out celebrating her 30th birthday, while Jason happened to be out at the same time on his work Christmas party.
From that chance meeting, everything quickly fell into place.

Because it was still the tail end of Covid restrictions, the couple were celebrating quietly at home in their flat. Just after midnight, as they watched fireworks outside, Jason got down on one knee.
The proposal was even more special because they had just found out a couple of days earlier that they were expecting their daughter, Eleni.
It was the perfect start to an exciting new chapter for their growing family.
